Harvest has done pretty well in the 2024 awards season so far. No, we didn’t win an Oscar, Golden Globe, or a BAFTA award … but it sure felt like it!
Harvest earned a spot on TIME magazine’s GreenTech Companies 2024 list. The following week, we were named Finalist in the Reuters Global Energy Transition 2024 competition. And previously, we won a 2024 Edison Award for Sustainable Energy – completing an Emerald Trifecta. (Yes, we made that term up.)
If you're here, you're probably already dialed in: Harvest makes heat pumps smarter, managing thermal energy storage to slash emissions from home heating and hot water by 90% compared to gas equipment. It’s the cheapest way to decarbonize homes and lowers monthly energy bills by 30%.
Harvest is a finalist in the Technology Whitespace category of Reuter’s competition. This award celebrates the most innovative technologies "make the seemingly impossible possible.” The nominations were judged independently by a panel of experts from academia, media, NGOs, and IGOs. Applications were judged based on relevance to zero-carbon energy, commercial viability, and disruptive potential. Winners will be announced in New York on June 25, 2024.
Harvest ranked 55 out of 250 on The GreenTech Company list presented by TIME. The ranking of US companies is based on research and analysis of over 4,600 companies considering positive environmental impact, financial strength, and innovation drive. More information on its methodology can be found here.
The Edison Awards™, named after the American inventor Thomas Alva Edison, recognizes some of the world's most innovative products and business leaders. Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners will be announced at a ceremony on April 18, 2024.
