Sustainable Jobs? At Harvest, we've got a few.

What is a sustainable job, really? If you’re trying to build a better future for life on Earth, do you need to chain yourself to a tree in the Amazon and get paid off GoFundMe? Study habitat loss in the arctic regions? Maybe go door-to-door selling solar panels?
All decent options, of course. But sometimes sustainability can look a lot like any other job: doctors, lawyers, engineers, salespeople, plumbers, electricians, and even custodians can (and should!) combine their desire to make good in the world with their god-given talents and life experience.
That’s what Isaias Hernandez - aka Queerbrownvegan - created the Sustainable Jobs series for.
In the first episode of Sustainable Jobs, Isaias visited the ECOS soap company to learn what viscosity testing has to do with lowering global temperatures. In the second episode, he visited our co-founders Jane and Pierre, and got a lovely tour of their basement…where their Harvest system (the first in the world) is installed.
